Bicyclist Hospitalized after Carpinteria Crash on Highway 101 On-Ramp at Bailard Road
Carpinteria, California (January 19, 2022) – A bicyclist was hospitalized after being struck by a vehicle Wednesday morning in Carpinteria, according to the California Highway Patrol's Traffic Incident log.
The crash happened at about 5:45 a.m. on Highway 101 on-Ramp at Bailard Road.
As per the CHP report, the bicyclist was crossing in front of the on-ramp when they were was hit by a car that was turning onto the Highway 101 on-ramp at Bailard Road.
Cyclist Injured in Carpinteria Bicycle Accident
The bicyclist was transported to Cottage Hospital in unknown condition.
