1 Injured in Car Accident on 680 Freeway near Rudgear Road in Walnut Creek
Walnut Creek, California (January 20, 2022) – One person was hospitalized following a two-vehicle collision on Wednesday evening.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened on northbound Interstate 680 near Rudgear Road at about 4:19 p.m., January 19.
A black Ford Explorer and a black sedan were involved in the collision. Officials were yet to establish the circumstances surrounding the collision.
One person suffered minor injuries in the accident and was rushed to John Muir Walnut Creek for treatment.
No additional information about the accident was provided.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
