Rider Suffers Major Injuries in San Diego Motorcycle Accident on Interstate 5 and Imperial Avenue Off-Ramp
San Diego, California (January 20, 2022) – A motorcyclist sustained serious injuries following a traffic collision that happened Wednesday evening in San Diego, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The crash happened at around 7:18 p.m. Wednesday, January 19, on Interstate 5 at the Imperial Avenue exit.
The CHP said a black Ford 4-door sedan collided with a black Ford 4-door sedan on the southbound side of the interstate.
Major Injury Motorcycle Accident in San Diego
The rider, whose name was not immediately disclosed, sustained major injuries and was taken to a hospital.
The southbound lanes of Interstate 5 at Imperial Avenue were closed following the crash.
The crash remains under investigation.
