2 Seriously Injured in Petaluma Collision on Highway 101 near Lakeville Highway Off-Ramp
Petaluma, California (January 20, 2022) – At least two people sustained serious injuries following a traffic collision that happened Wednesday afternoon in Petaluma, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The crash, which involved at least two vehicles, happened just after 1:50 p.m. on January 19 in the southbound lanes of State Route Highway 101 near Lakeville Highway exit.
After the collision, one of the involved vehicles, a silver Toyota Tacoma, overturned and landed on its roof while another vehicle veered off the roadway and stopped at an embankment.
2 Injured in Highway 101 Accident
Paramedics responded to the scene and rendered aid to two people who sustained major injuries in the crash. The identities of the victims and their current condition were not available.
