Frank Menchaca ID'd as Bicyclist Killed in San Jose Accident at Santa Teresa Boulevard and Blossom Avenue
San Jose, California (January 20, 2022) – The bicyclist who died following a traffic collision that occurred in San Jose in October has been identified as Frank Menchaca, 20, of San Jose, according to the Santa Clara County Medical Examiner-Coroner's Office.
The incident took place in the area of Santa Teresa Boulevard and Blossom Avenue the night of October 7, 2021.
According to police, Menchaca was riding a bike south across Santa Teresa Boulevard when a Honda struck him.

Menchaca was reportedly treated at multiple health facilities but succumbed to his injuries on Monday, January 17.
The driver who struck Menchaca remained at the scene after the accident.
The crash remains under investigation.
