Green Selene Injured in Sonora Crash on Shaws Flat Road near Springfield Road; Desiree Rodrigues Arrested
Sonora, California (January 21, 2022) – Green Selene, 25, was injured Thursday night in an alleged DUI car crash in Sonora, according to a local news source.
The collision happened just before 11:00 p.m. Thursday, January 20, on Shaws Flat Road near Springfield Road.
As per the local news source, 26-year-old Kylie McGlothern of Vallecito was driving a 2014 Mazda sedan northbound on Shaws Flat Road when she abruptly slowed her vehicle.
A 1994 Chevrolet pickup traveling behind McGlothern's vehicle was unable to stop and slammed into the back of the sedan.
Selene, who was a passenger in the Chevrolet, sustained minor injuries in the crash. Another passenger in the Chevrolet, 27-year-old Zackery Moore of Sonora, was not injured.
The driver of the Chevrolet, 27-year-old Desiree Rodrigues of Sonora, was transported to a hospital to be treated for minor injuries before being arrested on suspicion of DUI.
McGlothern, who was not injured, was also arrested on suspicion of DUI.
No further details about the crash were immediately provided.
The accident remains under investigation.
