At Least 1 Seriously Hurt in Landers Crash on Highway 247 near Boone Road

Landers, California (January 22, 2022) – A Friday evening car crash on Highway 247 in Landers left one person with major injuries, according to the California Highway Patrol.
A recreational vehicle hauling a trailer collided with a sedan that ended up stuck under the trailer.
The incident occurred at around 6:15 p.m. in the northbound lanes of the highway just south of Boone Road.
The vehicles had no lights on, and other motorists were swerving to avoid crashing into them.
The San Bernardino County Sheriff's deputies responded to the scene to help direct traffic.
At least one person sustained major injuries. Paramedics took the patient to the hospital in unknown condition.
Both traffic lanes of the highway remained blocked as investigators worked the scene.
