1 Sustains Minor Injuries in Ontario Car Accident on 15 Freeway near 10 Freeway
Ontario, California (January 23, 2022) – One person was hospitalized Sunday morning after being involved in a traffic collision in Ontario, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The incident was reported just before 3 a.m. on northbound 15 Freeway, near 10 Freeway.
As per the report, for unknown reasons, a green pickup truck crashed into the right-hand shoulder wall and got stalled in the middle traffic lanes. Shortly after, another vehicle crashed into the pickup truck.
Firefighters from the Ontario Fire Department responded to the scene and blocked the No. 1 lane.
A driver of one of the vehicles was transported by the firefighters to Kaiser Permanente Fontana Medical Center for treatment of minor injuries.
All lanes were reopened at 4:05 a.m.
The crash is under active investigation.
