Alejo Moreno Among 2 Men Killed in Highway 41 Crash on Highway 41 at Floral Avenue in Fresno

Fresno, California (January 24, 2022) – Alejo Jeronimo Moreno, 32, was among two men who died Friday morning in a two-vehicle crash in Fresno.
The deadly crash happened on Highway 41 and Floral Avenue, near Easton, at around 8:27 a.m. Friday, January 21, the California Highway Patrol reported.
According to the CHP, Adrian Flores, 33, of Fresno, was driving a Chevrolet van eastbound on Highway 41 when, for unknown reasons, he drifted into the opposite lane and went directly into the path of a northbound Ford F-150 truck, driven by a 17-year-old.
The pickup ultimately broadsided the van.
Alejo Jeronimo Moreno, who was a passenger in the van, was ejected from the vehicle and suffered critical injuries. He was taken to a hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries on Monday.
Another passenger in the van, Efrain Hernandez, 34, was declared deceased at the scene.
Flores and two other passengers sustained major to moderate injuries.
The occupants of the pickup were not injured.
One lane of the highway temporarily shut down following the wreck.
No additional information about the crash was provided.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
