Minor Injuries Sustained in Sacramento Multi-Car Crash on Highway 50
Sacramento, California (January 25, 2022) – The California Highway Patrol is investigating a multi-vehicle collision that happened Tuesday afternoon in Sacramento, resulting in minor injuries.
The pileup was reported at about 2:36 p.m. on westbound Highway 50, just east of 51st Street.
Eight vehicles, including a big rig and a white Volkswagen Jetta, were involved in the accident.
An unknown number of parties sustained minor injuries. Paramedics responded to the scene to offer medical aid.
Towing services were requested to help move the big rig that was blocking the roadway.
