1 Injured in Car Accident on 5 Freeway near Cesar Chavez Parkway in San Diego
San Diego, California (January 26, 2022) – One person was hospitalized following a two-vehicle collision on Tuesday morning.
The accident happened on Interstate 5 Freeway near Cesar Chavez Parkway at around 6:41 a.m., according to the California Highway Patrol.
Two vehicles were involved in the morning collision. The events leading up to the accident, however, were not immediately established.
One of the cars reportedly overturned after the collision.
Officials say one person was injured in the accident and was transported to the University of San Diego Medical Center for treatment.
