1 Killed in Semi-Truck Accident on Interstate 580 Freeway in Richmond

Richmond, California (January 26, 2022) – One person was killed in a fiery car crash on Wednesday evening in Richmond.
The collision was reported at around 6:52 p.m. on Interstate 580 Freeway, according to the California Highway Patrol.
A semi-truck and a sedan were involved in the crash. Although the events leading to the crash were yet to be established, the car is reported to have caught fire after the collision.

Officials say the sedan driver was trapped in the burning car and died.
