1 Person Trapped in Middletown Car Crash on Highway 29

Middletown, California (January 27, 2022) – One person was trapped in a car after a collision that occurred Thursday morning in Middletown, the California Highway Patrol reported.
At least two vehicles collided at about 8:37 a.m. near 18720 Highway 29.
First responders found a gray Mazda and a silver Nissan Frontier at the scene.
One person was trapped in the wreckage and needed extrication.
An ambulance was sent to the scene to provide medical help to parties who may have been injured.
Authorities did not immediately establish the cause of the crash, but they are investigating.
