Rider Hurt in San Juan Capistrano Crash on Ortega Highway
San Juan Capistrano, California (January 28, 2022) – A motorcyclist was injured after colliding with a semi-truck Thursday morning in San Juan Capistrano, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The incident occurred at about 10:33 a.m. near 33977 Ortega Highway.
The driver of the semi-truck called authorities reporting that they struck a motorcycle.
First responders found the motorcycle in the roadway, and the rider and the semi on the right-hand shoulder.
The motorcyclist sustained minor injuries. It was not clear if the victim was hospitalized.
