Young Skateboarder Injured in Fontana Crash at Miller Avenue and Juniper Avenue
Fontana, California (January 29, 2022) – A young skateboarder was hospitalized after being struck by a vehicle Wednesday afternoon at an intersection in Fontana, a local news source reported.
At around 2:23 p.m. on January 26, authorities responded to the area of Miller Avenue and Juniper Avenue to investigate the report of an auto-pedestrian.
A witness told the authorities that a juvenile was riding on a skateboard in the area when they were hit by a gray Toyota Camry.

The juvenile was treated at the scene by responding paramedics before being taken to a local hospital for precautionary reasons.
Authorities said neither alcohol nor drugs were factors in the collision, which remains under investigation.
