1 Hurt in Escondido Car Crash on Interstate 15 near Via Rancho Parkway
Escondido, California (January 30, 2022) – At least one person was seriously injured in a traffic collision in Escondido on Friday evening, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The crash happened on Interstate 15, just south of Via Rancho Parkway at around 6 p.m. January 28.
CHP said a blue pickup truck and another vehicle were involved in the incident. The pickup reportedly had major damage to its front.

One person sustained serious injuries and was rushed to a hospital for treatment.
The northbound lanes of I-15 were closed for the investigation.
The CHP is handling the investigation.
