1 Killed, 1 Injured in Car Accident at Harris Road and Buena Vista Road in Bakersfield
Bakersfield, California (January 31, 2022) – A man was killed in a two-vehicle collision in southwest Bakersfield on Sunday morning.
The fatal collision happened at the intersection of Harris and Buena Vista roads at 12:08 a.m., January 30, according to the California Highway Patrol.
A dark blue BMW SUV and a dark-colored vehicle were involved in the collision. The impact of the collision caused one of the cars to overturn.
A man in the car that overturned was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the car suffered moderate injuries in the accident.
The Kern County Coroner's Office did not immediately disclose the identity of the deceased.
