Brian Mull Identified as Man Killed in Somis Accident on Highway 118 near Price Road
Ventura County, California (January 31, 2022) – The man who was killed in a multi-car accident on Friday morning in Somis has been identified as Brian C. Mull, 52, of Simi Valley, according to the Ventura County Medical Examiner's Office.
The collision happened at about 6:26 a.m. on Highway 118 near Price Road.
According to the California Highway Patrol, Mull was driving a GMC Yukon SUV west on Highway 118 when he collided head-on with an oncoming box truck, for unknown reasons.

Mull was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The other driver, a 48-year-old Los Angeles man, only sustained minor injuries.
Both directions of Highway 118 were closed for several hours as authorities investigated the incident.
The cause of the collision remained under investigation by the California Highway Patrol.
