Major Injuries Sustained in Blythe Car Accident at Seeley Avenue and Defrain Boulevard
Blythe, California (January 31, 2022) – Authorities are investigating a major injury crash that happened Monday afternoon at an intersection in Blythe.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash occurred at about 5:43 p.m. at Seeley Avenue, also known as 16th Avenue, and Defrain Boulevard.
Two vehicles of unknown description collided, one of them ending up in a nearby canal that was partially full of water. That car had at least two occupants.
Firefighters responded to the scene to help the victims.
The report said major injuries were sustained in the crash, but did not mention the number of patients.
No other details were available, but CHP is investigating.
