Courtney Kendall Among 2 Killed in Chico Car Crash near Neal Dow and E Fifth Avenues
Chico, California (February 1, 2022) – Courtney Kendall, 24, was one of two people who died in a crash with an alleged drunk driver in Chico on Sunday afternoon, according to Chico police.
Two vehicles were involved in the wreck that happened near Neal Dow and E Fifth avenues at around 5 p.m. January 30.
According to police, Kendall and another person, identified as Cassi Tejeda, 22, were killed in the crash.

One of the motorists, Matthew Moen, 31, was taken into custody on charges of gross vehicular manslaughter while intoxicated.
The deadly collision is under investigation.
