Bicyclist Killed, Motorcyclist Injured in Azusa Crash at Cienega Avenue and Sunflower Avenue
Azusa, California (February 2, 2022) – Authorities are investigating a Monday morning traffic accident involving a motorcycle that killed a bicyclist in Azusa.
The deadly accident occurred at about 9:30 p.m., on February 1, at the intersection of Cienega Avenue and Sunflower Avenue.
According to the officials, an Azusa Police motorcycle officer collided with a bicycle at the intersection for undetermined reasons.

Both the officer and the cyclist were injured in the accident and were hospitalized for treatment. Sadly, the bicyclist was later pronounced dead.
Traffic on the roadway was stopped for an unknown period due to the accident.
The crash remains under investigation.
