Shanon Hayes Among 2 Injured in Sonora Crash on Highway 108
Sonora, California (February 2, 2022) – Shanon Hayes, 44, of Twain Harte was among two people who were killed in a car accident last wednesday night in Sonora.
The wreck happened on Highway 108, west of Via Este on Wednesday, January 26.
Authorities said Hayes was driving a 2006 Toyota Camry west on Highway 108 when she tried to pass a 2007 Toyota Tacoma pickup.

Hayes reportedly lost control and collided with the back of the truck, causing both vehicles to overturn.
Hayes and the driver of the truck, Joel Magee, 63, of Adelanto, sustained minor injuries.
Alcohol and drugs were not suspected to be factors in the collision.
