Joel Magee Among 2 Hurt in Sonora Accident on Highway 108
Sonora, California (February 2, 2022) – Joel Magee, 63, of Adelanto was one of two people injured in a traffic collision in Sonora the night of January 26.
According to authorities, the two-vehicle accident took place on Highway 108, west of Via Este.
Authorities said Shanon Hayes, 44, of Twain Harte was driving a 2006 Toyota Camry westbound on Highway 108 when she attempted to pass a 2007 Toyota Tacoma pickup driven by Magee.

Hayes lost control and crashed into the back of Magee's truck, causing both vehicles to overturn.
Authorities said both drivers sustained minor injuries in the accident.
Alcohol and drugs were not believed to have played a role in the collision.
