39-Year-Old Woman Dies after Galt Crash on Twin Cities Road and Cherokee Lane
Galt, California (February 2, 2022) – A Stockton woman has died after a crash that injured several people in Galt on Tuesday afternoon, the Galt Police Department said.
The incident occurred on Twin Cities Road and Cherokee Lane at about 3:15 p.m. February 1.
Police said a pickup truck carrying three people collided with a minivan occupied by five people.

Two people were ejected from the minivan following the collision. One of them, a 39-year-old Stockton woman, later died at a hospital following the crash.
The other seven parties involved in the accident were hospitalized with unspecified injuries.
Police said alcohol and drugs were not suspected in the collision.
The crash remained under investigation.
