Aalvin Chhue Among 3 Minors Killed in Modesto Crash on Carver Road and West Briggsmore Avenue
Modesto, California (February 3, 2022) – Aalvin Chhue, 17, was mong thre minors killed in a collision involving a big rig on Tuesday evening in Modesto, according to a local news source.
The fatal accident took place at Carver Road and West Briggsmore Avenue at about 4:15 p.m. February 1.
According to authorities, Chhue was in a vehicle that was struck by a big rig at the intersection. The big rig is believed to have run a red light at the intersection.

Chhue, his cousin Jayden Chhue, 15, and their friend, Jose Espinoza, 16, died following the accident.
Authorities said two of them died at the scene while the third minor was pronounced dead at a hospital.
Two other involved parties were taken to hospital with unspecified injuries.
The deceased victims were reportedly students at Grace M. Davis High School.
The driver of the big rig was not injured.
The investigation is ongoing.
