David Romero Among 2 Drivers Suffer Major Injuries in Los Olivos Car Crash on Highway 154 near Foxen Canyon Road
Los Olivos, California (February 3, 2022) – David Romero, 27, was among two drivers who were seriously injured in a Wednesday evening traffic collision in Los Olivos, authorities said.
The major injury crash happened a little before 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, February 2, on Highway 154, just west of Foxen Canyon Road.
Authorities said Romero, a Lompoc resident, was driving a 2003 Pontiac Grand Prix westbound on Highway 154 when, for an unknown reason, he veered into the eastbound side and collided head-on with a 2019 Honda Civic driven by a Santa Barbara resident.

Romero and the other driver were both airlifted to Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital with major injuries.
A section of Highway 154 was blocked for more than an hour as the cleaning took place.
It's undetermined if alcohol or drugs played any role in the collision.
