Six Injured in Fresno Car Crash on Highway 41 near Shields Avenue East
Fresno, California (February 3, 2022) – Several people were injured in a multi-vehicle collision in Fresno on Thursday afternoon.
According to a report by the California HIghway Patrol, four vehicles were involved in the pileup that occurred on Highway 41 near the Shields Avenue East ramp at around 2:18 p.m.
The collision started when a red Chevrolet Blazer driver lost control and slammed into a dark gray Chevrolet Impala.
The impact caused the Blazer to spin and stopped facing the wrong way while the Impala traveled up the embankment.
6 Hurt in Fresno Crash on Highway 41
CHP said two other vehicles were involved in the collision but their involvement was not specified.
At least six people sustained minor injuries in the crash.
It's unclear whether any of the injured parties were taken to hospital.
The CHP is investigating the wreck.
