Dante Giancarlo Longo Killed in El Cajon Truck Accident on Vernon Way
El Cajon, California (February 6, 2022) – Dante Giancarlo Longo, 24, of Chula Vista, has been identified as the man who was killed in a Sunday morning traffic accident involving a box truck in El Cajon.
The deadly accident occurred at about 3:00 a.m. in the 400 block of Vernon Way.
According to the officials, Dante was traveling westbound in a BMW when he crossed over the eastbound lane and crashed into a parked box truck.
Sadly, Dante was pronounced dead at the scene.
It was not clear if drugs or alcohol played a role in the mishap.
Further details regarding the accident were not immediately available.
The crash remains under investigation.
