Rider Critically Injured in Fresno Motorcycle Crash at Blackstone and Griffith Avenues
Fresno, California (February 7, 2022) – A motorcyclist was critically injured in a traffic collision that occurred on Monday morning in central Fresno.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the deadly collision happened in the area Blackstone and Griffith avenues at about 9 a.m.
A black car and a motorcycle were involved in the crash. Although the events leading up to the accident were yet to be established, the car reportedly caught fire after the crash.
The rider was critically injured in the accident and was transported to the hospital for treatment.
The driver of the black car remained at the scene with a passenger.
The police ruled out drugs and alcohol as factors in the crash.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
