59-Year-Old Man Killed in San Marcos Crash on North Twin Oaks Valley Road
San Marcos, California (February 7, 2022) – Authorities are investigating a Monday morning traffic accident that killed a 59-year-old man in San Marcos.
The three-vehicle accident occurred at about 6:30 a.m. in the 400 block of North Twin Oaks Valley Road.
According to the San Diego County Sheriff's Department, a northbound 1999 Toyota 4Runner sport utility vehicle struck a 2001 Honda Civic driven by the 59-year-old man.
As a result of the crash impact, the Honda was reportedly sent crashing into a BMW 328i.
Man Killed in Crash on North Twin Oaks Valley Road
The man was injured in the accident and was taken to a hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
The other drivers were not injured.
More details regarding the accident were not immediately available.
The crash remains under investigation.
