Audrey Jawor Killed, Todd Beth Hospitalized after Highway 101 Accident in Healdsburg
Healdsburg, California (February 8, 2022) –Audrey Jawor, 25, of Carlsbad, has been identified as the woman who was killed in a multi-vehicle collision in Healdsburg on Monday afternoon.
The crash happened at about 1:02 p.m. Monday, January 7, on the southbound side of Highway 101 at the intersection of Healdsburg Avenue and Old Redwood Highway, the CHP reported.
According to the CHP, 47-year-old Todd Beth, of Santa Rosa, was driving a Dodge pickup southbound on Highway 101, approaching a construction zone when he failed to slow down for slower-moving vehicles and slammed into a white Subaru and a black Hyundai Tucson.
As a result of the collision, the black Hyundai spun out of control to the right and hit a guardrail. It then traveled back into the traffic lanes and collided with a Chevrolet pickup.
The impact pushed the white Subaru to the right and collided with a blue Hyundai. The black Hyundai sustained major rear-end damage in the collision.
Carlsbad Woman Killed in Healdsburg Car Crash Identified
Audrey was riding in the back seat of the black Hyundai Tucson and died at the scene, according to the Sonoma County Sheriff-Coroner's Office.
The female driver of the black Hyundai Tucson and her front female passenger were taken to Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital with minor to moderate injuries.
Beth, who sustained minor injuries in the collision, stopped at the scene and cooperated with the police. He was transported to a hospital for treatment.
Alcohol or drugs were not considered a factor in the crash.
The name of the deceased person was being withheld pending notification of next of kin.
