Eric Chambers ID'd as Man Killed in Tehachapi Car Crash on Highway 58 near Highway 202
Tehachapi, California (February 8, 2022) – Authorities have identified the man who died Saturday night in a wrong-way crash in Tehachapi as Eric Christopher Chambers, 24, of Minnesota.
The deadly crash happened just before10:00 p.m., Saturday, February 6, on Highway 58, approximately 2 miles west of Highway 202.
Chambers was driving a pickup truck eastbound in the westbound lanes of Highway 58 when he collided with a semi-truck.

Chambers was pronounced dead at the scene.
No other injuries were immediately reported.
The crash remains under investigation by the California Highway Patrol.
