Ana Polanco Lopez ID'd as Woman Killed in Galt Crash on Twin Cities Road and Cherokee Lane
Galt, California (February 8, 2022) – The Sacramento County Sheriff Coroner's Office has identified the woman who died Tuesday afternoon following a traffic collision in Galt as Ana Julia Polanco Lopez, 29, of Stockton.
According to the Galt Police Department, the incident occurred on Twin Cities Road and Cherokee Lane at about 3:15 p.m. on February 1.
Police said a pickup truck carrying three people collided with a minivan occupied by five people.

Two people were ejected from the minivan following the collision. One of them, Polanco Lopez, later died at a hospital following the crash.
The other seven parties involved in the accident were hospitalized with unspecified injuries.
Police said alcohol and drugs were not suspected in the collision.
The crash remained under investigation.
