Bicyclist Injured in Sacramento Bike Accident on Sky Parkway
Sacramento, California (February 9, 2022) – A bicycle rider was struck and injured by a vehicle in Sacramento on Tuesday evening, the California Highway Patrol said.
CHP said a bicyclist was hit by a vehicle at 5055 Sky Parkway near the Sky Park apartments for unknown reasons.
The accident was reported shortly before 7 p.m. February 8.
Medics responded to the incident and attended to the rider.
The victim was then transported to UC Davis Medical Center with serious injuries.
A section of Sky Parkway was closed for the investigation.
The cause of the wreck is under investigation.
