1 Sustains Minor Injuries in Hayward Car Crash on 880 Freeway near Whipple Road Off-Ramp
Hayward, California (February 10, 2022) – One person was hospitalized after a three-vehicle collision that happened Wednesday afternoon in Hayward, the California Highway Patrol said.
The incident occurred at about 12:32 p.m. on northbound 880 Freeway, just north of Whipple Road off-ramp.
A blue Mini Cooper, a black Subaru, and a third car were involved in the pileup. The Subaru acquired moderate front-end damage and the Mini Cooper front-end and rear-end damage.
Paramedics responded to the scene and transported one person to Kaiser Permanente Fremont Medical Center with minor injuries.
Officers are investigating the collision.
