Ellen Le ID'd as 49-Year-Old Woman Killed in Santa Clara County Bicycle Crash on Mines Road at San Antonio Valley Road
Santa Clara County, California (February 10, 2022) – Ellen Le, 49, of Fremont, has been identified as the woman who was killed in a Sunday afternoon bicycle accident south of Livermore in Santa Clara County, according to the Santa Clara County Medical Examiner-Coroner's Office.
The deadly bicycle accident occurred at about 2:30 p.m., on February 6, on Mines Road at San Antonio Valley Road.
According to the California Highway Patrol, Le was cycling northbound on Mines Road when she collided with a southbound 2010 Land Rover.
Both the Le and the SUV reportedly approached a curve in the roadway crossed the double yellow lines resulting in a head-on collision.

Sadly, Le was pronounced dead at the scene.
Intoxication was not suspected of having played a role in the accident.
The crash remains under investigation.
