Mariposa County, California (February 10, 2022) – Logan Stone, 20, of Mariposa was injured in a collision involving a Yosemite Area Regional Transportation System (YARTS) in Mariposa County on Saturday evening, the California Highway Patrol said.

The wreck happened on Highway 140, just west of the Mt Bullion Cut Off Road at about 7:08 p.m. February 5.

According to the report, Stone was driving a 2006 Nissa Xterra east on Highway 140 when he was involved in a head-on collision with a westbound 2012 International D4500 YARTS bus driven by Roy Barron, 32, .

The impact of the collision caused the Nissan to roll over.

Emergency crews responded to the incident and helped the parties involvd in the collision.

Stone was taken to a hospital for treatment of moderate to major injuries.

The collision caused the closure of a stretch of Highway 140 for the investigation.

The CHP is investigating the incident.
