1 Seriously Injured in Rancho Cordova Crash on Highway 50 near Mather Field Road
Rancho Cordova, California (February 11, 2022) – At least one person was seriously injured Thursday evening in a traffic collision in Rancho Cordova, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The major injury crash happened at around 7:07 p.m. on February 10 on Highway 50, just east of Mather Field Road.
A white Toyota Corolla collided with a red Honda Civic on the westbound side of the highway, CHP said. After the crash, one of them came to rest against a wall.
Rancho Cordova Two-Vehicle Accident
One patient, whose name was not immediately available, was taken to a hospital with major injuries.
Authorities temporarily closed the westbound lanes of Highway 50 near Mather Field while the investigation took place.
