Sasi Prasad Killed in Sacramento Car Accident on Grand Avenue and Norwood Avenue
Sacramento, California (February 11, 2022) – The woman who died in a collision with a DUI driver in Sacramento on Thursday night has been identified by the Sacramento Police Department as Sasi Kamleshwar Prasad, 57.
Prasad was the driver of one of two cars that collided in the area of Grand Avenue and Norwood Avenue just before 10:40 p.m. February 10.
Police said Prasad died at the scene of the accident.
Alantae Hemmingway Arrested after Fatal Sacramento Car Crash on Grand Avenue and Norwood Avenue
The driver of the second vehicle and two other people were taken to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries.
Police arrested the second driver, identified as Alantae Hemmingway, 33, on charges of gross vehicular manslaughter while intoxicated.
He was booked into the Sacramento County Main Jail.
Police are investigating the deadly crash.
