1 Suffers Minor Injuries in La Mesa Crash on 8 Freeway near Highway 125
La Mesa, California (February 11, 2022) – One person was hospitalized after a multi-vehicle collision that happened Friday afternoon in La Mesa, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The pileup occurred at about 5:17 p.m. on westbound 8 Freeway, near Highway 125.
A semi-truck, an SUV, and a third car were involved in the collision. The semi-truck's loading section went through the SUV's window. The vehicles were blocking the roadway after the crash.
One person who sustained minor injuries was transported to Sharp Memorial Hospital.
No other details were given, but CHP is investigating.
