1 Injured in Homeland Car Crash on Highway 74 at Melba Avenue

Homeland, California (February 16, 2022) – One person was taken to the hospital after a multi-car accident that happened Monday evening in Homeland, a census-designated place in Riverside County, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The incident was reported at about 7:41 p.m. on eastbound Highway 74 at Melba Avenue.
A BMW sedan, a white Toyota Camry, and a third car collided, blocking the roadway.
Firefighters and paramedics responded to the scene.
One person was transported to Inland Valley Medical Center with unspecified injuries.
Eastbound Highway 74 was shut down for about half an hour following the accident.
CHP is investigating the collision.
