Injuries Reported in Sonora Crash on Phoenix Lake Road near Phoenix Lake Reservoir
Sonora, California (February 16, 2022) – Injuries were reported in a head-on collision that took place Wednesday afternoon in Sonora, according to California Highway Patrol.
The collision occurred on Phoenix Lake Road near Phoenix Lake Reservoir at around 12:30 p.m.
CHP said two pickup trucks were involved in the collision. The two crashed head-on for undetermined reasons.
Injuries Sustained in Sonora Crash on Phoenix Lake Road
Injuries were reported in the accident. The parties injured were treated for minor injuries and it's unclear whether anyone was taken to hospital.
The collision led to the closure of Phoenix Lake Road as authorities worked at the scene.
The cause of the accident is under investigation by the CHP.
