Sonora, California (February 17, 2022) – One person was hospitalized after being injured in a head-on collision near Sonora on Wednesday afternoon.
The crash happened on Phoenix Lake Road near Lori Lane at about 1:15 p.m., according to the California Highway Patrol.
Two pickup trucks are reported to have collided head-on in unclear circumstances.
CHP said at least one person was injured in the crash and was transported to the hospital for treatment.
