Maria Barajas-Demedina Killed in DUI Car Accident on Oroville Dam Boulevard
Oroville, California (February 18, 2022) – 52-year-old Maria Barajas Demedina was killed in a suspected DUI car crash on Wednesday afternoon in Oroville.
The California Highway Patrol said 57-year-old Joseph Hendrix was speeding on Oroville Dam Boulevard when he crashed into another car.
Maria was inside the second car and was killed in the crash, according to the Butte County Coroner Office.
Hendrix is believed to have been driving under the influence and was arrested for several charges including vehicular manslaughter.
