One Dies in San Jose Car Accident at I-280 and Margaret Way
San Jose, California (February 18, 2022) – One person died following a multi-vehicle collision that took place in San Jose on Tuesday night, according to a report by the California Highway Patrol.
Three vehicles collided on I-280 and Margaret Way at around 10:45 p.m. February 15.
The impact caused one of the vehicles to fall off the northbound I-280.

Firefighters and medics responded to the scene and extricated at least one person from the vehicle.
CHP said one person was pronounced deceased at the scene.
It's unclear whether there were any other injuries.
The CHP is conducting an investigation to determine the cause of the collision.
