50-Year-Old Man Killed in North Hills Crash on 405 Freeway at Nordhoff Street Off-Ramp
North Hills, California (February 19, 2022) – A 50-year-old man was killed in a Saturday morning multi-vehicle Collision that happened on 405 Freeway in Los Angeles' North Hills neighborhood, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The pileup was reported at around 10:12 a.m. in the northbound lanes at the Nordhoff Street off-ramp.
Multiple vehicles, including a semi-truck, collided for unknown reasons.
One unresponsive person was given CPR at the scene.
The report said a 50-year-old Hispanic man was pronounced dead at the scene.
It was not clear if the other involved parties were injured.
Investigators are collecting more information to determine the cause of the collision.
