2 Children Hospitalized after Highway 4 Accident
Antioch, California (February 22, 2022) – Two juveniles were sent to a hospital following a Tuesday afternoon car crash in Antioch, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The 1:14 p.m. collision occurred on Highway 4, just east of Auto Center Drive.
A red sedan collided with an SUV on the eastbound side of the highway. After the impact, the sedan overturned onto its side on the right shoulder and collided with a black Chevrolet Equinox.
The vehicles blocked the eastbound lanes of the highway.
Two children were transported to Kaiser Antioch with minor injuries.
No further details about the crash were immediately provided.
The accident remains under investigation.
