Minor Injuries Suffered in Hayward Car Accident on Interstate 880 near Industrial Pkwy Off-Ramp
Hayward, California (February 23, 2022) – Authorities are investigating a car collision that happened Wednesday morning on a freeway in Hayward.
The California Highway Patrol said the wreck occurred at around 7:49 a.m. on southbound Interstate 880, just north of the Industrial Pkwy off-ramp.
Two vehicles were involved in the accident. One of them was occupied by children.
Firefighters and paramedics responded to the scene shortly after receiving reports of the collision.
The report said the crash resulted in minor injuries. The motorists were offered medical aid by the paramedics. It was, however, not clear if anyone was hospitalized.
Authorities are investigating to determine the cause of the accident.
