At Least One Person Injured in Antelope Valley (14) Freeway Collision near Newhall Avenue in Santa Clarita
Santa Clarita, California (February 23, 2022) – At least one person was injured in a multi-vehicle collision in Santa Clarita on Wednesday afternoon, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The crash occurred at around 1:38 p.m. on the Antelope Valley (14) Freeway near Newhall Avenue.
A gray BMW sedan, a gray Volkswagen sedan, a gray Porsche SUV, and a dark blue Honda Accord collided under unclear circumstances.
Authorities said the vehicles blocked the southbound lanes of the freeway, just north of the Interstate 5 Freeway.
Medical personnel responded to the scene to help at least one person who was injured as a result of the crash.
A tow truck was dispatched to the scene to remove at least two damaged vehicles.
No further details regarding the crash were immediately provided.
The accident remains under investigation.
