Rider Killed in Riverside Motorcycle Crash on University Avenue and Orange Street
Riverside, California (February 25, 2022) – A motorcyclist died after colliding with a van Thursday afternoon at an intersection in Riverside, as per a local news source.
The accident happened at about 2:12 p.m. on University Avenue at Orange Street.
The Riverside Police Department said a Ford Transit Connect van was traveling west on University Avenue when, for unknown reasons, crossed paths with a motorcyclist going east on University Avenue at Orange Street.
The male motorcyclist was rushed to Riverside Community Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
Police said the driver of the van was not injured and cooperated with authorities.
Investigators did not immediately determine the cause of the accident.
